Inspired by Love, Himalayas and Haidakhan Babaji

Human love leads to love of nature. Love of nature leads to the love of the Lord and His saints. I began writing, Mystic and the Blossoms, in 1984 while still a very busy professional teaching engineering at IIT Delhi and busy with scientific publications. As a result, the book did not get beyond the first draft then. It remained buried in my file for years. It was in summer of 1991, I suddenly found time on my hands, free from professional work so I pulled it out and got it printed from a small printer in the city of Jaipur as a hardcover under imprint QUESST Publications. It is a small work and better described as a novella rather than a novel. The idea then was not to make any profit from it but share thoughts expressed through medium of fiction with those interested and those who matter. The book had thoughts on how to improve lives of some of the most backward parts of our world not just through technology but also spiritual wisdom.

Naini Mata, Mother Goddess of Miracles

Last month, one morning I woke up with an intuition that a college friend, Rajat would be visiting Jaipur. He currently lives in America and it had been a long time since I had heard from him. Excitedly, I rushed an email to him that I am in Jaipur currently and I heard that he is coming here, and it would be nice if he came and stayed with me this time instead of a hotel where he usually stays during his many travels around the world. It would be an opportunity to catch up. A reply came that he was indeed coming to India in early April but not to Jaipur. Then few days later another excited email arrived from him,

Dear Ashok, thank you for wishing me luck. You are not only wise but possess some special powers because of meditating and being a yogi.
