The pure of heart delight in the Garden of God

A classical photo of Naini Lake by an unknown photographer When a human reduces concerns, thoughts and desires of worldly things the heart becomes pure and then one begins to find greater pleasure in nature than in man made things, even man made gardens for the garden planted by God or Mother Earth, a part of Him, is far more beautiful. It is not just mystics and spiritual person who delight in forests, wild fields, lakes and streams but all who have unburdened their souls for such places nourish the soul. Of all wild countryside, it is mountain ones that are most beautiful because from a mountain side one has a vast view of this garden of God as compared to a forest on the plains. Of all mountain forested areas the ones in the central portion of Nainital Himalayas are some the most beautiful because here the mountain is full of undergrounds streams that create many lakes and lush green countryside. Three roads from the plains lead to Nainital town, One via Kaladhungi

Best time of day to consume Marijuana/ Cannabis wherever legal

Cannabis is an illegal substance in most countries of the world presently. However for centuries humans have used cannabis for its medicinal, spiritual and recreational benefits, up until around a hundred years ago when it began to become illegal and maligned. Now as modern research begins to unfold medical benefits of Marijuana for various ailments, many for which no reasonable modern treatment exists such as epilepsy in children and PTSD in adults to name just a few, efforts have begun in many parts of the world to re-legalize it. It is something that was legal for thousands of years of human history and created no problems except in the aforesaid period of less than hundred years when it was made illegal. Aside from its medicinal and spiritual use, modern studies appear to have established that it is much safer than alcohol as a relaxant and for recreational use also. Alcohol used similarly can kill and prompt crimes. Marijuana does not kill and suppresses tendency f

A Tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth

A lthough Queen Victoria could never visit India, she took special interest in it as the Empress of India and amongst all towns in the Himalayas, Nainital. Some Himalayan mystics believe that Queen Victoria was a European reincarnation of the goddess Nanda (as also the Tibetan goddess Tara) and her great great grand daughter Queen Elizabeth may be a divine or angelic reincarnation too, for goddesses when they reincarnate on Earth have often done so as royalty and in current times there is none more supreme than Her Majesty amongst royalty and she has all the attributes of a divine personality. Today she became the longest reigning British Monarch in a thousand years. The reason for a European reincarnation of a Himalayan goddess are discussed at length in the author's book - The Babaji Affair - available at all major online outlets including Amazon. Offensive words, sweet speech

A s we move through life we run into people whose words offend us deeply, others whose words are pleasant and sweet and most in mixed formats. That is what creates a character different from a bland vegetable. If we are unable to tolerate offensive words of someone we know or meet, we can minimize communications with such persons and even cut off completely in the case maxima. A similar thing can be done for electronic communications too, through various means known to those familiar with its use in places like social media through use of block, private etc.   However, two things must be remembered in all this, first is not to be offended much by all kinds of remarks on social media where people having the advantage of distance may feel freer to make offensive remarks, as the picture suggests. I preferred the color red for the graphic in a shade that is the favorite of a a South and East Asian epic god – Lord Hanuman – who was famed for his most appropriate and sw

Ten things that make for heavenly places on Earth

Are sufficiently prospe

Shiva and Cannabis or Marijuana

Himalayan Cannabis   “Compassionate people are geniuses in the art of living, more necessary to the dignity, security and joy of living than discoverers of knowledge” Albert Einstein “Those who seek joy and dignity through an attainment of wealth devoid of goodness and compassion lose both and drive themselves to the top of a mountain of misery and the edge of an abyss” Ashok M. https://www.whaxy.com/news/himalaya-marijuana   Cannabis is presently an illegal substance in India . Boat Race in Nainital

A Boat Race on Nainital Lake B oat races on the Nainital Lake are celebrated events of Nainital for more than a century now. Here is an old classical photo of one shared by a friend Harish Bhatt on Facebook. It was originally a black and white picture but has been retouched with digital color by this blogger. Nainital is best described as a blue lake surrounded by lush green hills of oaks and pine and undergrowth of ferns and sweet wild flowers with mountain springs and snow covered peaks, the abode of the goddess Naini Mata when not resting in the snow white peaks of Nanda Devi with her sister Sunanda Devi. May Nainital be protected from the ravages of human lust and greed, may the goddess not be compelled again to wash the town and its people into the lake once again as she did more than a hundred years ago but instead grant them heavenly peace, contentment and tranquility filled with beauty, and may Nainital forever remain the place from where a cry for p
